I am originally from Hampton Virginia, and I have been living in the Atlanta Metro area since 1996. My interest in the field of health and fitness started while pursuing a degree in Exercise Science at Georgia State University. I started my personal training career at the East Cobb YMCA (1997), where I learned how important it is to explain proper form and technique. I completed my undergraduate studies and Graduated from Georgia State with a Bachelor Degree in Exercise Science, May 2000. In September of 2001, I furthered my education by becoming a Certified Health/Fitness Instructor with the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM).
I have 15 years personal training experience working with diverse groups of individuals at different fitness levels. My career in personal training has given me an opportunity to train clients with Diabetes ,Multiple Sclerosis, Arthritis, High Blood Pressure, High Cholesterol, and those who are physically challenged. I also enjoy training small groups with different levels of fitness and different goals. I am excited about helping clients reach personal goals whatever they may be from, running the Peachtree Road Race, training for a Marathon, or just trying to stay fit and healthy.
My own personal achievements consist of running the Peachtree Road Race, Sprint Triathlons, Eikeden Marathon Relay, Tour De Cure 50K Diabetes Bike Ride, MS 150 Bike Ride, ½ Marathon’s, Promina Corporate Challenge, Heart Trek 5K,10K , Chateau Elan Duathlon, and many other local races.
I have two beautiful children, Son Miles, and Daughter Cameron. Other hobbies and interest for me are reading, strength training, running, cycling, and golf.
